INTERPRETER FOR WEDDING CEREMONIES

Civil ceremonies in Italy are performed in Italian. If the spouses and/or the witnesses do not know Italian, the presence of an official interpreter is required under art 13 and 66 of the Presidential Decree no. 396/2000.

I offer an accurate “wedding whole package” including:

  1. Preliminary assistance by phone/e-mail;
  2. Sworn translation of the documents to be submitted to the Town Hall (Certificate of no impediment etc. );
  3. Sworn interpretation (Oath before the ceremony, Articles of the Italian civil Code during the ceremony).

I am available to provide my assistance in Lucca and in any other place in Tuscany Region.

LITERARY TRANSLATIONS

In 2005 I obtained a Master Degree in Literary translation from the University of Siena, Hispanic Department, choosing as my specialty “Dominican literature”.
A series of fortunate coincidences allowed me to participate in a literary competition in which the works of a number of authors, discovered and translated by me, gained the First and Second prizes in the Short Story Category, and the Third prize and a Special Mention in the Poetry Category.

I am keeping on cooperating with Dominican writers, participating in literary events in Dominican Republic, and writing reviews on Dominican novels and short stories.
